Tell us a little about yourself! How did you first get interested in acting?

I started in voice acting on my own when i was around 9 but i joined theatre33 one year later to learn play acting and meet new people.

What was the first play or show you ever performed in? What do you remember most about it?

The first play i preformed in was 'The Addams Family' a Theatre33 production. When I joined I wanted a minor role but eventually I warmed up to the idea of a less minor role and being the love interest. I remember it being a great learning experience and super stressful but fun!

Who is your favorite actor or performer, and why do you look up to them?

I look up to Gianni Matragano a lot, hes a voice actor for primarily video games but also many medias. I look up to Gianni because of his ability to put what feels like truely pure emotions into his characters with only his voice.

What has been your favorite role so far, and what made it special?

My favorite role has been Lucas in 'The Addams Family, though not talking much I feel like I was very able to communicate through body language more than telling the audience.

What’s the hardest thing about acting that you didn’t expect when you first started?

Conveying emotion correctly is surprisingly difficult as everyone 'reads' you differently.

How do you get ready for a performance? Do you have any special routines or good luck charms?

I usually get ready by going over my lines saying them out loud and calming my nerves.

What’s the funniest or most unexpected thing that has happened to you on stage?

During 'The Addams Family' my microphone and tie got stuck on a prop forcing me and another person to be stuck together in a scene where you usually have distance.

How do you remember all your lines? Do you have any tricks that help?

I learn other peoples lines and then my responses, I find that much easier than learning my own lines first.

What do you do if you get nervous before a show?

Usually, even though I do get nervous, I just dive myself into the show and try my best to be my character.

If you could play any role in the world, from any play or movie, what would it be and why?

Though it is a female role I would love to play the Ballerina from the movie 'White Swan' i would like to play this role because in the movie this character slowly goes insane and I believe conveying insanity would be fun.

What’s one thing you love about theatre that makes it different from other activities?

I love how theatre lets you embody a character and let reality fall away for a while.

What’s something theatre has taught you that helps you outside of acting, like in school or with friends?

Theatre has taught me that not everyone sees things what you try to convey the same as you intend.

What’s the best piece of advice someone has given you about acting?

Tyler from Theatre33 once told me something that echoes in my head every time I do Theatre - "What does the audience see".

If someone wanted to start acting but felt too nervous, what would you tell them?

Don't try to force yourself, if you're ready, start but if you aren't, forcing it usually ends poorly.

How does it feel when you take your final bow after a performance?

Tired but relieving, the shows done, characters gone, no more script, no more audience.
